My business experience has paralleled many of the clients and customers that the office now works with. I can relate to what it takes to run and grow a business; knowing what it is like to sell "my baby" after nursing it through the difficult times and being married to it for so many years. My first major business sale was when I sold a Dodge dealership that I owned and operated for 15 years, after that I spent 20 years owning and operating the Greater Quad City Auto Auction where we represented and sold vehicles for many national customers including the nation's leading auto manufacturers on a regular basis. There comes a time when we have to move on, either to retirement, or a different life style and I decided to sell that business in 2000. After selling the auction business I opened the Sunbelt Office in Moline in March 2002. Since 2003, Sunbelt's Moline office with its team of licensed professional business brokers has been the leader in the business brokerage/merger and acquisition field in the Quad City Iowa and Illinois region. The International Business Brokers Association has conferred me with a "CBI" Certified Business Intermediary designation as a result of successfully completing training and demonstrated standards of performance as a business broker. My experience, along with our team of Sunbelt professionals, can provide a proven professional process for those who have an interest in buying, merging or selling a business.

Cliff joined Sunbelt's Quad City office after 35 years in the financial industry, serving as President of an empoyee-owned bank in Eastern Iowa for the last 12 years. He continues to be a member of the bank's Board of Directors. He was involved in all aspects of banking, but focused especially on the processing, from beginning to completion, of commercial, agricultural, real estate and consumer loans. While at the bank, one of his main priorities was customer service. He brings that same commitment along with his previous experience to Sunbelt Business Brokers.

Daniel brings to Sunbelt a diverse background in multiple disciplines within both the public
and private sector. These include sales/marketing, counseling, industry targeting and retention,
manpower information systems management, community/ economic development and human resources management. In addition, he has owned, operated and partnered in multiple business ventures to include the construction industry, food service, medical billings/collections, automotive consumer products and advertising. This experience affords him a wide range of traditional human resource accountabilities, which are proven to be enduring and extremely useful in today’s rapidly changing business environment.

In addition, Daniel holds two undergraduate degrees in Human Resources/ Humanities and Political Science/Personnel Administration from Morris College Dover, N.J. and Western Illinois University Macomb, IL respectively. He completed his Masters Degree and Thesis component in workplace discrimination/harassment at Iowa State University Ames, Ia. with honors and an emphasis in Public Administration/Human Relations.

Joe is an active Attorney who retired from Deere & Company after serving 27 years as its Tax Counsel. Among other issues, he was involved in issues such as purchases and sales; and acquisitions and mergers of businesses. Prior to his service with Deere, Joe was a specialist with the Reorganization Branch of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C.and dealt with changes in business ownership. He is also a certified Arbitrator and Mediator, and hears cases for the 14th Judicial Circuit. Joe is also on the Park Board for the City of Moline. Wes began his business career in finance for a major retailer, moved into CFO duties in the food service and the media industries, and has spent 13 years in CEO roles. Wes has led turnarounds in the media and distribution industries and has also taught others how to lead business transitions.
